This page explains what PrettyArab stores about you. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Browsing without an account
You can browse the entire site without signing in. When you open an outfit we record that it was viewed, along with a random identifier stored in your browser so the same view is not counted twice in a day. That identifier is not linked to your name or email, and clearing your browser storage resets it.
When you create an account
Accounts are handled by Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address, display name and profile picture from Google. If you sign in with an email and password, the password is held by Firebase and never reaches our servers. We store your email address, a username, and whatever you choose to put on your profile.
What we record about your activity
Likes, saves, boards, follows, uploads, searches and outfit views are stored against your account. They are used to run the features themselves and to decide what to recommend to you. Your saved boards are public unless you mark them private. Your likes and search history are never shown to other people.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not run third party advertising trackers. We do not use your photographs to train our own models.
Third parties who process data for us
Firebase handles sign in. An object storage provider holds the images. An AI provider processes uploaded images to produce the outfit analysis, and receives the image for that purpose only. Each of these acts on our instructions.
Your rights
You can edit your profile at any time, delete any outfit you uploaded, and delete your boards. To request a copy of your data or the deletion of your account, write to us through the contact page and we will action it.
Retention
Deleted posts are kept in a hidden state for a period so that moderation decisions and copyright complaints remain auditable, then removed. Account deletion removes your profile, likes, saves and boards.
